Google Review Software for Tattoo Studios

A tattoo review is about more than the finished artwork. Clients may comment on the consultation, communication, studio environment, comfort and overall experience. EarnedWord helps artists and studios ask naturally after a completed session.

Why completed-work context matters

Tattoo-specific wording matters. The customer page refers to a client, appointment or session—not an awkward generic job—and can feature the finished tattoo when the client has agreed.

The review path stays open to every client. EarnedWord does not screen by sentiment, ask for a particular star rating or hide Google from clients who may have concerns.

Suggested review workflow

  1. 01

    Complete the session

Add the client, tattoo service and completed appointment details.

  2. 02

    Use the finished tattoo

Add an approved finished-tattoo photo while respecting consent and placement privacy.

  3. 03

    Ask about the experience

Share a client-friendly page after the session and aftercare explanation are complete.

  4. 04

    Follow up respectfully

Use one optional reminder without pressuring the client or asking for a specific rating.

Photo guidance

Get clear permission before publishing a finished tattoo image. Consider identifiable marks, body placement and the client’s comfort. A photo can be omitted without weakening the honest-review path.

Best request timing

Ask after the appointment, once the client has received aftercare guidance and can reflect on the studio experience. Do not frame the request as a judgment of the healed result before healing has occurred.

Initial request

Hi [Client name], thank you for trusting [Studio name] with your [tattoo/session]. Here is your finished-session page: [link]. If you feel comfortable, we would appreciate an honest Google review about your experience.

One follow-up

Hi [Client name], we hope your aftercare is going smoothly. If you would still like to share your experience with [Studio name], your review page is here: [link]. No pressure—thank you again for choosing us.

Common questions

Does the customer page use tattoo-specific language?

Yes. Tattoo accounts use client, appointment, session and finished-tattoo wording where those terms feel natural.

Is a finished tattoo photo required?

No. Photos are optional and should only be used with the client’s permission.

Can independent tattoo artists use EarnedWord?

Yes. The workflow works for individual artists as well as studios, and it does not require separate booking software.
